TWP Tours has modified our policies based on the most recent guidelines issued by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention
Our priority at TWP Tours is the health and well-being of our tour participants, guides, local communities and partners. For the past 6 years, we've worked on improving the health and safety expectations of each trip and taking the local context into account. We will adjust tours according to all the necessary policies and guidelines in response to COVID-19.
Health & Safety Protocols

Have a pre-trip health assessment before travelling. If you need to cancel your trip because of illness or recent exposure, please contact TWP Tours staff immediately.

For everyone's safety, all of our partners, local communities, tour participants, and guides, should follow the CDC recommended guidelines, which will be required during our travels. Fully vaccinated tour participants will still need to wear a face mask.

Rental vehicles will be sanitized frequently during the trip with the help of tour participants and TWP Tours staff. It is recommended that each participant bring their own personal hand sanitiser, extra masks, and any other materials they need. TWP Tours staff will provide additional cleaning wipes, masks, gloves, and hand sanitisers if needed.

Due to covid-19, we will most likely not be staying with local communities for health reasons. However, we will closely assess all accommodations for appropriate cleaning and sanitation.

Due to covid-19, we will need to limit meals with local communities. However, we will ensure that local communities and restaurants are following local requirements, can also accommodate everyone's eating preferences and will follow food-handling appropriately.

If TWP Tour staff is notified that someone test positive for covid-19, we will follow all CDC guidelines, and find the necessary local clinics and hospitals for any emergency.

Protecting Local Communities & Partners
Our staff checks in regularly with our local partners and community members to approve our visits, and follow local guidelines and protocols. We stay up to date on all travel advisories and steps necessary for leaving and entering the countries we visit.

Participants must show proof of vaccination or a negative covid-19 test result prior to travelling. It is highly recommended that all participants stay safe and monitor their exposures for the safety of themselves and others around them.

Each country has its own guidelines, but generally, if you are fully vaccinated you do not need a covid-19 test prior to entry. However, the US does have mandatory guidelines for re-entering the country after travel, mostly showing proof of a negative covid-19 test result. We will provide all necessary information prior to your trip.

For the safety of everyone involved on the trip, masks will be required for the majority of the trip. All face coverings or masks must fully cover the nose and mouth. Guides will follow all CDC-recommended face coverings guidelines and will offer extras during the trip.

Yes, please bring a photo or a hard copy of your vaccination card.
